June 9th and Nicolas Ghesquiere showed his 2011 Resort collection in New York. Taking his incomparable take on graphic print and infusing it into the 70's stable, the maxi and then with an equally innovative hand, casting a new light on that most iconic of image, that of the Pan Am girl. This collection was anything but dull, safe... or any number of words I could use to disparage many Resort collections this season. Love it...

Peter Jensen showed a collection inspired by Maggie Smith in Muriel Spark's classic book. I loved it, My only comment...why not show in London?

I'm a huge fan of Erin Fetherston and her pretty pretty dresses. This season she showed a 'Nico' inspired collection with pants and play suits, however it was the re-working of the blazer of (which I've now way too many) that really caught my attention.

Well hello what is this I spy, a rather lovely, beautiful curvaceous women in Chanel, really...and shot by Karl Lagerfeld, could not be! Well it's true. Now I feel maybe anything is possible. Models, cupcakes at the ready...

Grey, really? I keep hearing that it's the thing to do, let it all grow out. But really it's going to make you look old isn't it. I know that the hyper blond trend was all over the S/S shows and I love a blond myself but grey, I'm passing. This shoot for Dazed was super gorgeous, 1940's stockings, now that's something i'll consider.

Their are so many reasons to love Lara Stone at the moment, so this is just heaven. Karl Largerfeld also seems to have a bit of a crush, combining her with the too beautiful Baptiste.

The girls are working that bit harder for Vogue Italia's Dec issue. Inspired by Twitter no less, I can't wait to see more...

Dutch beauty who had everyone talking all over fashion week, Mirte Maas. Her killer brows and fresh look means we will be seeing much more Maas this season.
